Adam Cole Vs. Bronson Reed Set For July 27 WWE NXT

A big main event for next week's show

Bronson Reed and Adam Cole will clash one-on-one on next week's episode of NXT.

Cole and Reed will meet in the main event of the July 27 episode of the black-and-gold brand. The two clashed on last week's NXT when Reed interrupted Cole's promo, leading to the former Undisputed Era leader trying to super-kick the ex-North American Champion. Reed would send Cole packing.

Reed took part in a sit-down interview with Wade Barrett this week, during which he said he would defeat Cole when they meet in next week's main event.

Cole and Reed's match for next week's NXT will, in reality, be pre-taped at an NXT recording at the Capitol Wrestling Center on Wednesday 21 July, as the black-and-gold brand make a couple of altercations due to the Olympics coverage.

Also confirmed for next week's NXT is a tag-team match putting Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher against Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan, while Carmelo Hayes will take on Josh Briggs in the NXT Breakout Tournament.
