AEW Give 'Medical Update' On Tony Khan After Attack On Dynamite

AEW's medical update for Tony Khan means he will "run shows remotely"

Tony Khan and his neck brace have gone viral following him being on the receiving end of an attack by The Elite on last week’s AEW Dynamite. Khan sold the injuries from the Tony Khan Driver tag team move, sporting a neck brace during media appearances for the NFL Draft - something the NFL Network made sure to comment on during an interview where he called WWE the “Harvey Weinstein of wrestling”.

On AEW Collision last night, an official kayfabe medical update was provided for Tony Khan. Tony Schiavone noted that after suffering “head and neck injuries”, Khan would be forced into running AEW shows remotely from back in Jacksonville, due to being recommended not to travel by doctors. It was hinted that members of The Elite, EVPs The Young Bucks, might be taking up creative reins in the absence of Khan.

All of AEW’s shows were held in Jacksonville this past week due to Tony Khan’s commitments in the NFL Draft, with it being reported that he was going back and forth between the two during last night’s episode of Collision.
