AEW's Austin Gunn Out For 8-10 Weeks

After Anthony Ogogo decimated him

Courtesy of his beatdown at the hands of Anthony Ogogo on AEW: Dynamite, Austin Gunn will be on the shelf for some time.

AEW announced following the show that The Ass Boy will be out for 8-10 weeks, writing: "@theaustingunn as a result of injuries sustained in his match up tonight with #TheGuvnor @AnthonyOgogo on #AEWDynamite will be out of action for the next 8-10 weeks."

Gunn went one on one with the Olympic bronze medallist on last night's Dynamite ahead of Ogogo's clash with Cody Rhodes at Double Or Nothing. The Brit dominated the action and he drilled Gunn several times in the stomach. He then put Austin out of commission with a Pop-Up Punch to the face and the referee called for the bell.

The Son Of A Gunn signed with AEW back in January 2020. He is part of Gunn Club with father Billy Gunn and brother Colten Gunn and they regularly team together on AEW Dark. They are also members of The Nightmare Family, having joined the faction in October.
