AEW's Chris Jericho Files To Trademark "DemoGod"

We'll be hearing a lot more about the 18-49 demographic...

At Fight For The Fallen, Chris Jericho made his way to the ring with The Inner Circle. Le Champion then cut a promo in which he declared he was The King Of The Ratings and christened himself The Demo God. This came after his match with Orange Cassidy at Fyter Fest continued his streak of never losing a quarter in the 18-49 demographic in the ratings war with NXT.

The Painmaker has since released two Demo God t-shirts and the term will seemingly be used by Jericho for some time as Mike Johnson at PWInsider first reported the former AEW World Champion filed to trademark the term "DemoGod" on July 27. The trademark will be used for professional wrestling events and merchandise purposes.

Whether or not Jericho can keep his streak in the 18-49 demographic going remains to be seen but Le Champion will continue his rivalry with the popular Orange Cassidy over the next two weeks. The two stars will face off in a live debate on Wednesday and their rematch is scheduled for the August 12 edition of Dynamite.
