Alexa Bliss Comments On WWE Money In The Bank Botches

Alexa Bliss addresses the Money In The Bank botches

While the match was an entertaining one, the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match at the 2022 pay-per-view on July 2 did receive some criticism, with many pointing to the botches throughout the contest.

Much of the criticism was aimed at SmackDown's Shotzi and the former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion noted she accomplished the three things she looks for in a match at Money In The Bank, before she quit Twitter.

Speaking with Metro, Alexa Bliss addressed the botches at Money In The Bank and the five-time WWE Women's Champion noted that everyone was safe and they were all ultimately happy for Liv Morgan, who won the match and later cashed in the Money In The Bank briefcase to win the SmackDown Women's Championship.

"Everyone felt good, we're all safe - which is what's important. It was a chaotic day from start to finish. We all got through it, we all had fun. We were all really happy for Liv - it's her time, it's long overdue," Bliss said.

Since Money In The Bank, Bliss has continued to appear on Monday Night Raw and is seemingly set to form a tag team with Asuka.
