Alexa Bliss Taking 'Time To Heal' During WWE Absence

Bliss has been absent since WWE Extreme Rules 2021

Alexa Bliss has indicated her ongoing absence from WWE television is because she needs 'time to heal'.

Bliss hasn't been seen on WWE programming since losing to Charlotte Flair in a Raw Women's Championship Match at WWE Extreme Rules in September.

It was reported at the time that Bliss was taking time away from WWE to undergo sinus surgery and could be expected to miss 'a few months' from the promotion.

Bliss herself appears to have confirmed her ongoing absence is, at the very least, health-related, replying to an enquiry from a fan on social media regarding her lack of appearances for WWE over the last couple of months.

When asked when she was coming back to WWE on Twitter, Bliss simply replied: "Need time to heal."

There is no word as to a timescale for Bliss' return to WWE. Bliss was still included in the 2021 Draft back in October, with the multiple time Women's Champion being selected for the Raw brand, meaning fans can expect Bliss to come back to Monday nights when she does make her eventual return.
