Another Main Roster Talent Returns To WWE NXT
Another main roster talent was back on WWE NXT this week
A main roster talent returned to WWE NXT on the June 6 episode from the developmental brand.
Dana Brooke was shown entering the Performance Center on NXT and she made it clear that she wanted to compete in the Battle Royal to determine Tiffany Stratton's first challenger for the NXT Women's Championship. Brooke was granted her wish and she made it to the final three in the Battle Royal, only to be eliminated by Thea Hail while Brooke was battling on the apron with Cora Jade.
Hail ended up winning the match as she took out Brooke and Jade at the same time and the Chase U member will challenge for the NXT Women's Championship at a future show.
The NXT appearance did leave Brooke's status on the main roster unclear. She was selected by Monday Night Raw in the latest WWE Draft but she was consistently referred to as a free agent by the NXT commentary team. Main roster talents in Baron Corbin and Mustafa Ali have also appeared on NXT in recent weeks but they became free agents in the WWE Draft.
