Becky Lynch Becomes Longest Reigning WWE Raw Women's Champion, Unhappy With Current Storyline

The Man beats Ronda Rousey again.

In the main event of WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch pinned Ronda Rousey to capture the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships. On Tuesday The Man figuratively defeated Rousey again, surpassing her former rival's title reign of 231 days.

While Lynch lost the SmackDown Women's Championship at Money In The Bank to Charlotte Flair, she has fended off all challengers for the Raw title - defeating Lacey Evans, Natalya, and Sasha Banks at pay-per-views.

However, when acknowledging her achievement, Lynch tweeted a not-so-subtle dig about her current storyline. She wrote: "I've just become the longest reigning Raw women's champion, so i'm thrilled to be in the tag division rn." accompanied by a GIF of her looking into the camera, hinting that we all know what she is talking about.

Since defeating Banks at Hell in a Cell in October, Lynch was been predominately involved in the women's tag team division, teaming with old rival Charlotte Flair. They have twice been defeated by current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, The Kabuki Warriors. However, they did emerge victorious on the November 18th edition of Monday Night Raw, defeating The Ilconics.

The Man's stint as part of a tag team does look set to continue, however. This Sunday at Starrcade she is booked in a Fatal 4-Way match for the Women's Tag Team Championships. Lynch will team with Charlotte Flair against The Kabuki Warriors, Bayley & Sasha Banks, and Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross. The Target Center, host of the TLC pay-per-view, is also advertising that Lynch & Flair will face The Kabuki Warriors in a Tables, Ladders, & Chairs match at the event.
