Becky Lynch Comments on Surprise Return At WWE SummerSlam 2021

Becky Lynch has made her first, albeit brief, comments on making her return to the WWE at SummerSlam 2021. 

Lynch made her surprise comeback in Las Vegas this weekend following the announcement that Sasha Banks would be unable to compete at the Allegiant Stadium. The Man, who has not been seen since May last year due to pregnancy, made her way to the ring and dispatched of Carmella before challenging Bianca Belair to an impromptu match for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

After winning the Title in 27 seconds, Lynch has made her first comments on returning to WWE in a quick interview.

Speaking to Kayla Braxton for a WWE exclusive, Lynch said: "The Man is back and it feels good."

While Lynch's shock return was incredibly well received by fans, who have been clamouring for The Man's comeback in recent weeks, the nature of her win over Belair was not so well taken.

Lynch's quick dispatch of a champion that WWE has been building up since WrestleMania 37 has left a number of fans frustrated that such a well-crafted build would be dropped in favour of such a disappointing match.
