Big Tag Team Match Set For ROH TV
ROH have booked a big tag team match for next week
The May 25 episode of Ring Of Honor television has had a big match scheduled, as a top NJPW star will once again appear on the brand.
Samoa Joe, the ROH World TV Champion, and Zack Sabre Jr, the NJPW World TV Champion, will be putting their differences aside to team up in a tag team match in which they will battle with the newly re-formed duo of Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal. The latter pair have title hopes though, as in the segment to shoot this angle, they said that if they win the match, they each get title shots at the respective television belts.
The pair of ZSJ and Joe have each been on roles recently as the TV Champions of both ROH and NJPW. ZSJ has defended his gold on seven occasions thus far since winning the belt back in January at Wrestle Kingdom 17, and he even successfully retained it against Blake Christian on ROH programming too. In the case of Joe, he has been champion for over a year at this point in a reign which has seen him defeat the likes of Jay Lethal, Brian Cage, Juice Robinson, Mark Briscoe, and more, with a current total of eleven defences.
