Bobby Lashley Added To WWE Title Match At Day 1

It'll now be a fatal four way

Bobby Lashley has been added into the WWE title match at WWE Day 1, and the bout will now be a fatal four way.

During the course of the night, Lashley had to win a three match series to earn his way into the WWE title bout. In succession, he defeated Kevin Owens by submission, Seth Rollins by pinfall, and WWE champion Big E via pinfall.

Owens submit before the Hurt Lock was even applied to avoid injury. Rollins initially defeated Lashley via DQ after Owens interfered (to keep Lashley from getting into the title match). However, Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce then ordered an immediate no DQ rematch, which Lashley won in mere seconds.

In the final match, Lashley pinned Big E with a spear after MVP struck Big E with his cane.

The current card for WWE Day 1, taking place Saturday, January 1 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, is as follows:

* WWE World: Big E (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Lashley

* WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

* Raw Women's: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Liv Morgan

* SmackDown Tag Team: The Usos (c) vs. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston

* Edge vs. The Miz

* Plus, a special appearance from Migos
