Braun Strowman To Have Elbow Surgery - WWE TLC Match In Doubt

WWE Raw Superstar was written off TV last night...

Last night's WWE Raw saw Braun Strowman written off TV. After learning that he would need to defeat Baron Corbin at the TLC pay-per-view in a TLC match next month to get to Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble - despite the fact Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon promised The Monster Among Men both matches if he did well at Survivor Series (which he did) - Braun was beaten down by Corbin, Lashley, Drew McIntyre, a steel chair and the ring steps. Strowman was left on the floor of the arena saying he couldn't feel his hand and fingers on the arm attacked.

Now, many sources online are reporting that the 35-year-old will undergo surgery to clear out bone spurs from his elbow soon. Once that is out of the way, WWE will then make a call to decide whether or not he's fit enough to compete at TLC on 16 December.

Here is the official statement released by WWE following last night's Raw:

“As reported by Michael Cole during the Monday Night Raw broadcast, Braun Strowman suffered a shattered elbow at the hands of Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin.”

Braun took part in a tag team match to kick off this week's Raw, teaming with Finn Balor and Elias against Messrs Corbin, Lashley and McIntyre. Drew ended the match by bringing a steel chair into the ring. From there, the heels assaulted Braun, targeting his arm in the process. It should be noted, it wasn't the attack on last night's show that injured Braun - the former Money in the Bank holder had a preexisting knock to his arm.

Everyone at Cultaholic wishes Braun a speedy recovery!
