Brock Lesnar Appearance, US Title Match Announced For 10/17 WWE Raw
Loading up the show for Monday
A championship match has been added to this coming Monday's episode of Raw, as well as an appearance from the recently returned Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar showed up on this past Monday's episode of Raw, marking his first appearance with the company since losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. In his surprise return, Lesnar attacked then-United States champion Bobby Lashley, hitting him with a pair of F5s, and further weakening him with a Kimura lock. Lashley then dropped the US title to Seth Rollins in a brief match.
As for Rollins, he'll defend the US title on this Monday's Raw against Matt Riddle. Riddle defeated Rollins in a Fight Pit match last Saturday night at Extreme Rules, the latest chapter in a feud that has been going since the summer months.
The current card for Monday's WWE Raw, taking place at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, includes the following:
* WWE United States: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Matt Riddle
* Dexter Lumis vs. The Miz (if Lumis wins, he earns a WWE contract)
* An appearance from Brock Lesnar
* The return of Elias
