Chad Gable Explains Why He Turned Heel On WWE Raw

Chad Gable explained his actions on Monday Night Raw. 

Gable turned heel on the April 15 edition of Monday Night Raw, literally German Suplexing Sami Zayn out of his wife's arms after the Alpha Academy leader failed to defeat Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. Gable revealed on this week's Raw that he was justified in attacking Zayn as Sami allegedly taunted his opponent by placing the Intercontinental Title in front of him and later celebrating with his wife at ringside. 

Gable then turned his attention to his fellow Alpha Academy members on Monday's Raw, complaining he had been wasting his time "training a bunch of losers." The former Raw Tag Team Champion proceeded to insult all of his stablemates, saying he had a problem with Tozawa losing all the time before Gable called Maxxine Dupri "dumb as a box of rocks." Gable was then told he had only "proven himself beyond a shadow of a doubt to be the biggest disappointment of them all."

Having wasted his time training Alpha Academy, Gable said the group from now on would focus on helping him win the Intercontinental Championship. Otis, Dupri, and Tozawa were all reluctant but they ultimately agreed to do so. 

Long term, plans reportedly call for Gable to form a stable with the Creed Brothers following a heel turn from Julius and Brutus Creed. The trio were shown training together ahead of the April 15 episode of Raw.
