Chris Jericho Teases Teaming With Kenny Omega At AEW's Winnipeg Show

Could Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho team together in AEW?

A potential dream team could be formed in All Elite Wrestling in 2023.

AEW will make their Winnipeg debut on March 14 with a live edition of Dynamite and a taped Rampage. The show is still a few months away but Chris Jericho teased teaming with his fellow Winnipeg-native Kenny Omega on one of the shows.

"That's three months from now, so we'll have to see where the storylines take us. We just finished up with the Blackpool Combat Club. The biggest upset in pro wrestling history when Action Andretti beat me on Dynamite last week. We'll have to address that. Ricky Starks is another one that we're looking at getting involved with. There are a lot of great programmes," Jericho said on Winnipeg Sports Talk.

"That's the thing with me and the Jericho Appreciation Society. We always want to work with somebody new and really sink our teeth into the storyline. In mid-March, we'll probably have a lot of cool things going. We've already discussed a few ideas of what we could do that night. Maybe something with Kenny and I, Kenny and I tagging, it all depends on what the storylines are. It doesn't matter what the exact storylines are, I know it's going to be a great show."

Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho have never teamed together but they have stood opposite each other inside the squared circle on several occasions, primarily in multi-man matches. They have clashed twice in singles action at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 and in the main event of AEW's first pay-per-view, Double or Nothing 2019.
