CM Punk Gone From AEW Fight Forever Cover

No CM Punk in AEW Fight Forever?

As CM Punk's future with All Elite Wrestling looks bleak, the two-time AEW World Champion has been removed from the cover of the upcoming Fight Forever console video game.

Punk was previously front and centre of the cover art but the 44-year-old is nowhere to be seen in the latest trailer for Fight Forever that was released over the weekend. What appeared to be a new cover for Fight Forever was then revealed at the end of the trailer that featured Kenny Omega as the centrepiece. The likes of Hangman Page, Britt Baker, Sting, Chris Jericho, MJF, Jade Cargill, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, and Orange Cassidy are also on the new cover.

Punk had been All Elite Wrestling's top star but his relationship with the rest of the locker room deteriorated in 2022 to the point that he and Ace Steel had a brawl with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks following Punk's rant in his post-All Out media scrum. Punk has been suspended ever since and he and All Elite Wrestling are reportedly in talks over a contract buyout.

Relations between Punk and AEW are said to be worse than ever following Colt Cabana's return on a recent episode of Dynamite.

A release date has yet to be revealed for AEW Fight Forever but the title will be released on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game has been in development since the summer of 2020.
