CM Punk Teases Bryan Danielson's AEW Debut On Dynamite

The American Dragon is on his way

CM Punk has teased the arrival of Bryan Danielson in All Elite Wrestling.

Punk made his AEW Dynamite debut on last night's show for an interview with Tony Schiavone. The Straight Edge Superstar discussed his upcoming All Out match against Darby Allin and AEW's young talent before he admitted the question at the September 5 pay-per-view will be, "Does CM Punk still have it?"

This led to loud 'YES!" chants from the fans in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and after letting them play out, Punk said: "That's somebody else's shtick and you might just need to be a little bit more patient, okay?"

"YES!" chants were often used by Bryan Danielson throughout his 12-year run in WWE. The American Dragon departed WWE in late April, though, after his contract expired.

It then emerged in July that Danielson had "100% already signed" with All Elite Wrestling and he was tentatively scheduled to debut in the promotion on the September 22 episode of Dynamite inside New York City's Arthur Ashe Stadium.
