CM Punk's Next Appearance On WWE Backstage Revealed

He's back after a short absence.

CM Punk returned to the WWE fold on the November 12th episode of WWE Backstage, where he was announced as an analyst for the new programme. Since then, the former WWE and UFC competitor has been one of the most talked about individuals in professional wrestling.

During his first full episode, Punk was as outspoken as wrestling fans expected him to be. He criticised WWE creative for a segment involving Baron Corbin, in which a "Big Dog" made its way to the ring to a dubbed version of Roman Reigns' entrance music. The former WWE Champion also criticised Seth Rollins for challenging him to a match, telling him to "stop tweeting". Punk was also considered a harsh judge on Promo School. While Paige and Renee Young awarded guest David Arquette's promo a "C" and "C-", Punk gave him an "F-".

Punk has not been back on WWE Backstage since, but Renee Young announced during last night's broadcast that the Best in the World will return on next week's episode. The man in question later tweeted: "No cornballs allowed."
