Daniel Bryan Pitched For Big E To Go On A WWE Singles Run

Fans have the Leader of the Yes Movement to thank for Big E's push...

Following The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, Big E embarked on his first singles run since the formation of The New Day. The eight-time tag team champion has since gone 5-0 in one on one matches and feuded with The Miz & John Morrison and Sheamus. Big E's success as a singles Superstar looks set to continue following the split of The New Day and he is currently the favourite to win the 2021 Men's Royal Rumble.

Big E revealed during an interview with Gorilla Position that he has Daniel Bryan to thank for his singles run. The former world champion has been involved with WWE creative on SmackDown over the past few months and he reportedly has "significant creative influence" on the blue brand.

The former Intercontinental Champion said: "I have to give credit to Daniel Bryan because the run – the idea for the solo run was from him. Like, Bryan is the reason. Like he's not just like, 'Hey Big E.' But like he's actually a part of the process and he's the one who said, 'Hey, this is what we should do with Big E.' So he's been behind that and for that, I'm really grateful."
