Details Of Scrapped Luke Harper WWE Feud Reportedly Revealed

Former Wyatt Family member requested his release from the company...

Back on April 16, Luke Harper revealed that he had asked for his release from WWE. A couple of days ago, it was reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE had rejected that request, and not only that, added months to Luke's current deal to make up for the time lost while the former Bludgeon Brother was out injured.

Luke hasn't commented on those reports one way or the other at the time of writing.

Dave Meltzer has been speaking on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio and has claimed that WWE scrapped a potentially notable feud for Luke against the recently returned Sami Zayn after his release request was put in.

It is not known if the release request is the reason for the plans being scrapped at the time of writing, so there's a chance those putting together Monday Night Raw simply had a change of heart.

While Luke hasn't been seen on main roster TV since the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35, Sami has been tearing things up as he continues to lambast the WWE Universe for being critics and having the emptiest of lives.
