Doc Gallows Reveals Why He And Karl Anderson Signed With IMPACT Wrestling

The offer was too good to turn down...

At Slammiversary 2020, The Good Brothers debuted in IMPACT Wrestling and stopped Ace Austin from beating down Eddie Edwards after the main event. Gallows and Anderson will now face off against Reno Scum on this week's episode of IMPACT!.

Gallows recently sat down for an interview on WrestleTalk In The D with Martez and the three-time IWGP Tag Team Champion revealed he and Anderson decided to sign with IMPACT because the promotion made them a good offer in terms of money and their schedule, but also because their new home was willing to promote their outside projects, something that wasn't an option in WWE.

The Good Brother said: "Karl and I both have a long history with Scott D'Amore… Scott helped me when I was leaving TNA years ago into New Japan. Put me into contact with those people, putting together a very nice deal for me at the time. He's always been a business associate but also a friend of ours. And they put together a very nice offer that had an unlimited schedule… But the most attractive thing about it was the fact that the people at IMPACT are fully onboard with co-promoting our brand and we want to promote their brand and they're onboard to promote ours.

"They promote the Talk'N podcast, as you saw Tuesday. They're helping us promote our Talk'N Shop A-Mania pay-per-view, our Talk'N Shop beer that we're coming out with. All of this stuff that we have in the works, it's been really nice to be onboard with somebody who wants to help you with your outside projects, where when guys are in WWE because there's this model the way that it is there, there's not a lot of room for that kind of co-promotion and especially to do it on their television show. That was a really big deal for me."
