Dolph Ziggler Wins Number One Contender's Match On WWE NXT

Could he beat Bron Breakker?

Dolph Ziggler is the number one contender for the NXT Championship.

The Show Off went one-on-one with Tommaso Ciampa in a number one contender's match on Tuesday's episode of NXT and after both men fought back and forth, Ziggler's Dirty Dawgs tag team partner Robert Roode decked Ciampa with a camera while disguised as a camera operator.

Ziggler then took advantage with a Superkick and covered the former NXT Champion for the victory before The Dirty Dawgs embraced inside the squared circle and beat down Ciampa.

This led to the save from Bron Breakker and The Dirty Dawgs will take on the NXT Champion and Tommaso Ciampa next week.

It has not been revealed when Ziggler will challenge for the NXT Championship. The developmental brand's next major show, Stand & Deliver, is set to take place on Saturday, April 2.

Ziggler has been performing on NXT for the past few weeks since he interrupted a championship summit between Bron Breakker and Santos Escobar ahead of their Vengeance Day match.
