Dominik Mysterio was used to take a shot at Buddy Matthews during AEW Double or Nothing
Dominik Mysterio found himself being referenced during All Elite Wrestling's Double or Nothing pay-per-view from Las Vegas on Sunday, May 28.
The House of Black - composed of Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews - put their AEW World Trios Titles on the line in an open challenge at the pay-per-view, an open challenge that was answered by The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn.
Alongside The Acclaimed came Max Caster's customary pre-match rap and along with mentions of RuPaul and blackface, the outspoken member of The Acclaimed called out Buddy Matthews for getting "cucked" by a "kid named Dominik." The line was ultimately a reference to the on-screen relationship on WWE TV between Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley. Buddy Matthews is Ripley's real-life boyfriend.
Despite another well-recieved rap, it wouldn't help The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass to victory at Double or Nothing. Just as they got rolling in the contest, Billy Gunn was rocked by a Black Mass from Malakai Black from out of nowhere as H.O.B scored another victory to continue their run as AEW World Trios Champions.
