Dominik Mysterio Turns On Rey Mysterio At WWE Clash At The Castle

It finally happened.

After years of speculation about a possible turn, Dominik Mysterio betrayed his father Rey Mysterio at the Clash At The Castle pay-per-view in Cardiff, Wales.

The turn came about following Rey Mysterio and Edge's win over Finn Balor and Damian Priest and even though he helped the babyfaces pick up the win, Dominik entered the squared circle and looked set to celebrate with his father before he suddenly kicked Edge square in the nether regions. Rey then tried to calm his son down but Dominik replied with a Lariat to his father, leaving the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion lying. 

Dominik then left the Principality Stadium to a chorus of boos while Judgment Day laughed at Edge and Rey at ringside. 

The younger Mysterio's turn had long been discussed, with Rey and Dominik even saying that they didn't want to feud with each other. The turn came about after Rey chose to team with Edge at Clash At The Castle instead of his own son, something which irritated Dominik.
