Drew McIntyre Targeting WWE WrestleMania 37 Night Two Main Event

He's preparing to face Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship

Drew McIntyre is hoping he can main event the second night of WWE WrestleMania for the second consecutive year.

McIntyre won the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar in the main event of the first ever two-night WrestleMania last April, and is set to face Bobby Lashley for the title again this year.

With WrestleMania 37 again set to be a two-night extravaganza at Raymond James Stadium, the Scottish Warrior is hoping he can once again occupy the main event spot on the second night, with the desire of sending fans home happy after he hopefully reclaims the WWE Championship.

Speaking to Forbes, he said: "If I had to pick where I wanted to be, I would obviously pick the last match of the second night just like last year. You can be the main event of Night One, but the main event of Night Two is the final, final match. That’s what people talk about.

"You’re looking to send people home with a smile on their face or, the people watching at home end the night with a big smile on their face. I got the chance to do it last year, and I hope I get the chance to do it this year. Or, perhaps Lashley’s got crazy momentum, maybe they’ll be frowning after my moment."
