Eva Marie Enjoying Working With 'Awesome' Doudrop On WWE Raw

Eva Marie has hailed her partnership with the former Piper Niven on WWE Raw, praising her teammate as 'an incredible athlete'. 

Marie returned to WWE television last month alongside Niven, who joined the main roster from NXT UK, and introduced the Scottish wrestler as 'Doudrop'.

Having signed with WWE a number of months ago, Marie says she knew about the partnership with Niven for a while and the angle WWE wanted to take the story.

Marie is relishing the opportunity to work alongside Doudrop and also the chance to experience The ThunderDome before getting back to live crowds.

Speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, she said: "I knew for quite some time about getting paired with Doudrop and the vignettes and going into that creatively. It was a matter of the timing of when it would be put in the actual show. It just so happened that now is the time.

"The fact that I got to experience the ThunderDome before we actually start having live crowds again is amazing. Having Doudrop to work with is awesome. Not only is she an incredible athlete, but I enjoy working with her because it creates another element to the division."
