EXCLUSIVE: Bayley Interested In Working TNA, Marigold
Bayley would like to wrestle for TNA, and Marigold
With WWE forging partnerships with the likes of TNA Wrestling and Marigold, it seems that there are plenty of potential crossovers waiting to happen from WWE, and Bayley wants in.
Talking to Cultaholic’s Fraser Porter ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle, Bayley said the following about wrestling with one of WWE’s partners:
“The more that it’s been happening, it really didn’t hit me that it was possible until I saw Jordynne Grace come out on NXT. I immediately texted Hunter, texted Shawn [Michaels] and I wanted to be at the show [Battleground]. I’m like, ‘You know what? I would love to be front row for this. It’s a historic match.’ Kind of get my face out there like hey I’m watching, I’m the champion, can you consider me if we ever do something with TNA. I would love to do that just because it’s different, it’s exciting. It’s something that people will remember and the fans can really feel how real this is right now. It’s just a cool time in the business and I think doing things like that is such an unpredictability that gets people excited in different ways.
“Marigold, I’m down. Rossy [Ogawa] let me know. I’ve wrestled in Japan a couple of times but with WWE. I got invited to go to Japan right before I got signed but I couldn’t do it. Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” said Bayley.
For now, Bayley will have to keep her focus on Glasgow, with the WWE Women’s Champion set to put the belt on the line against Scotland’s own Piper Niven on the show.
