Finn Balor: I Have Unfinished Business With Roman Reigns

The last time Finn Balor and Roman Reigns met in a WWE ring it ended under strange circumstances, with Reigns getting the win after the top rope broke, leaving ‘The Demon’ wide open at Extreme Rules 2021.

Since then, Balor has stayed away from the WWE Universal Title scene but believes he and Reigns will collide again, telling WWE El Brunch:

"Me and Roman Reigns have a lot of unfinished business. There was a little bit of a 'questionable finish' to our last match at Extreme Rules when the top rope mysteriously broke in our championship match, so I feel there's a rematch due with myself and Roman. Hopefully, we'll get to that soon after Clash at the Castle,” Balor said.

Balor and Reigns have fought 10 times on WWE TV since 2016, with Balor memorably defeating Reigns on his main roster debut, securing a spot in the SummerSlam 2016 main event for the uncrowned Universal Championship. 

In singles competition, Reigns is currently 4-1 up against Balor, and we’ll have to wait and see who comes out on top should the two cross paths again.
