Former IMPACT Wrestling X Division Champion Joins WWE

The Performance Center has another new arrival...

Over the weekend, former IMPACT Wrestling star Samuel Shaw made his NXT debut at a live event, losing to Fabien Aichner.

Shaw, a winner of the Gut Check competition, was one of a whole host of new arrivals at the WWE Performance Center last month, alongside the likes of Rachael Ellering, Trevor Lee, and both members of 3.0. And now, another former IMPACT Wrestling star is set to join those new faces at the PC.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that DJZ is heading to WWE after accepting a contract offer made during the last week of February.

DJZ, 32 now, spent seven years with IMPACT Wrestling before leaving for pastures new at the turn of the year. A former X Division Champion and Tag Team title holder with Andrew Everett, Z hadn't been used by IMPACT since June of last year.

So far this year, DJZ has turned out for the likes of PROGRESS Wrestling, EVOLVE, and ICW (an appearance billed as his "final time in an ICW ring," no less).
