Former WWE, NWA Women's Champion Jazz Announces Retirement

Former WWE and NWA Women's champion Jazz has confirmed her retirement from the ring, during an interview with Chris Van Vliet.
Said Jazz during the interview, "I'm limping right now. I'm done. I'm not going to Terry Funk it, I'm done. I was gonna do a whole tour for 2020, but with the pandemic happening that kind of screwed everything up. We'll see for 2021, I may try to do a tour. I'm done, but I'll go out there and do a minute."
The 48-year-old, 22-year veteran spoke of the ailments and other issues that led to this decision, saying, "I've been having issues with my knees and my back and more issues physically, mentally, and emotionally. That's why I had to forfeit the NWA Women's Title, because I was having issues. I have two beautiful daughters and I have to focus on them right now."
Jazz reigned as NWA Women's champion from September 2016 to April 2019, where (as noted) she ultimately vacated the belt.
Jazz also held the WWE Women's title twice during her three-year run with the promotion, spanning from 2001 to 2004. She was also the recipient the Cauliflower Alley Club's Women's Wrestling Award for 2020.
Her last high-profile match came as a participant in the Women's Casino Battle Royal at last year's AEW All Out.
