Former WWE Star Makes AEW Debut (SPOILERS)

They will be on AEW Dark next week

A voice very familiar to WWE fans will be heard on AEW Dark this week, in what turned out to be a surprise appearance.

Former WWE Raw and Smackdown General Manager, Vickie Guerrero, has appeared at AEW’s event at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

According to Dave Meltzer, Vickie received a “monster reaction” when she walked on the stage, seemingly joining the broadcast position to commentate for AEW Dark.

Vickie is one of several voices AEW have tried out on AEW Dark, their weekly Youtube show. We previously heard Peter Senercia, aka Taz/Tazz, providing colour for Dark.

Vickie Guerrero, the widow of WWE Hall Of Famer Eddie Guerrero, served for many years as on-screen General Manager for WWE RAW and Smackdown, acting as an on-air authority figure from 2007 until finishing with the company in June 2014. She initially debuted on-screen as part of a feud between her husband and Rey Mysterio in 2005.

She was last seen on WWE TV as an entrant in the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble Match in 2018.
