Former WWE Star Stevie Richards Dealing With Health Issues

Stevie Richards is reportedly dealing with some debilitating health issues

Former ECW, WCW, WWE and TNA star Stevie Richards is currently dealing with some serious health issues.

Posing a picture of himself using a walker in what looks like a medical facility on his Instagram page, Richards wrote:

"The last 4 weeks, especially the last one, have really been something else. We aren't quite at the finish line yet, but hopefully the road to recovery starts asap. I will be explaining what has happened and documenting my road to recovery on the YouTube channel as well as here. Speaking of the YouTube channel, we have plenty of videos to edit/publish - so there will still be new content as we work through this. Please subscribe to stay updated and for the normal fitness reviews."

According to PWInsider, the word going around is that Richards is dealing with a number of issues related to his back/spine which have gotten worse in recent weeks.

The 51-year-old wrestled for ECW and then WCW, before signing with WWE in 1999. He gained a measure of notoriety as the leader of the villainous Right to Censor stable, before becoming the manager/tag partner of Victoria and then spending several years being used primarily as a utility player.

He was released in 2008 and subsequently worked for TNA and on the independent scene. In recent years, Richards has been focusing his efforts on endeavours outside of the wrestling business, in particular his fitness brand.

Cultaholic sends its best wishes to Stevie Richards as he recovers.
