Gene Snitsky Recalls Vince McMahon Asking Him To Make His Teeth 'Dirty'

Former WWE star Gene Snitsky has recalled the physical changes that Vince McMahon asked him to make in order for him to portray a psychotic heel on the ECW brand.

Snitsky spoke about his 2007 move from Raw during a recent appearance on Monday Mailbag with Mike Chioda, noting how the WWE Chairman wanted him to alter his appearance to match his new character, noting:

"I just remember Vince coming to me. [He said] 'Hey, man. You're doing such a great job for us. I'm going to move you to ECW and we're going to have you like, just be this killer heel. But, I want you to go shave all your hair off and go see the makeup lady and do something with your teeth to make them look like, dirty and grimy".

After impressing in the role, Snitsky was subsequently moved back to the Raw roster, a move which he still can't wrap his head around, telling Chioda: 

"I've got all these guys I'm just mowing over and then — I don't know, three, four, five months later or whatever it was — Stephanie stops me in the hall. 'Hey, Gene, my dad just loves what you're doing on ECW. We're going to draft you back to Raw'...I didn't understand it then, I don't understand it now".

Snitsky requested and was granted his release six months after being drafted back to Raw.
