Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne Debut On WWE SmackDown, Advance In Women's Tag Title Tournament

Toxic Attraction has arrived

Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction debuted as replacements in the WWE Women's Tag Team title tournament during Friday's SmackDown, where they defeated Natalya and Sonya Deville in the quarterfinal round.

The finish of the match saw Natalya attempt the Sharpshooter on Dolin, not realizing that Dolin had tagged Jayne, who then rolled Natalya up for the pin.

Dolin and Jayne were replacements for Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons. Hours before the show, Shawn Michaels announced that Stark was injured at NXT Heatwave on Tuesday, and that Lyons was "medically unavailable". Lyons is unable to cross into Canada due to reportedly being unvaccinated (SmackDown tonight is in Montreal).

Dolin and Jayne will face Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez in the semifinals. Aliyah and Rodriguez defeated Shotzi and Xia Li to advance.

On the other side of the bracket, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai will face Alexa Bliss and Asuka in the semifinals. Sky and Kai defeated Tamina and Dana Brooke in the opening round, while Bliss and Asuka defeated Nikki ASH and Doudrop.
