Hangman Page Ignores CM Punk's AEW World Title Challenge

CM Punk chose violence this week on AEW Dynamite and the AEW World Champion was spoiling for a fight on the show. 

The Second City Saviour opened Dynamite and unexpectedly turned his attention to Hangman Page, challenging him to an immediate AEW World Championship match. Punk then waited for Hangman to show up but Page ultimately ignored the challenge, with the AEW World Champion saying: "This isn't Cowboy Sh*t. This is coward sh*t." 

Punk then moved on to Jon Moxley and the champions had two confrontations on Dynamite with their AEW World Title Unification Match eventually being booked for next Wednesday. 

John Silver ultimately revealed why Hangman did not answer Punk's challenge, posting a photo of the former AEW World Champion in catering with Dark Order. 

Hangman Page and CM Punk feuded in All Elite Wrestling earlier this year and Punk defeated The Anxious Millenial Cowboy to win the AEW World Championship at Double Or Nothing. Punk then suffered a broken foot only a few days later, returning to action last week.
