IMPACT Vs. AEW, Title Vs. Title Match Set For IMPACT Rebellion 2021

A huge announcement on last night's IMPACT Wrestling!

IMPACT Wrestling has announced that the winner of this Saturday's IMPACT World Championship match between Rich Swann and Moose will face AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a Title Vs. Title Match at IMPACT Rebellion 2021.

Swann, the reigning IMPACT World Champion, will take on Moose, who is now the legitimate TNA World Champion, in the main-event of this Saturday's IMPACT Sacrifice. It was revealed on Tuesday's IMPACT Wrestling that the winner of that match will unify the two belts to become the undisputed World Champion in the promotion.

The stakes have been raised even higher, however, with the further announcement that the victor this weekend will then be immediately inserted into the main event of IMPACT Rebellion, on Saturday 24 April, 2021, to face AEW World Champion Omega in a match for both prestigious titles.

IMPACT Wrestling executive Scott D’Amore said, in a press release: "It is hard to describe the magnitude of the opportunity Rich Swann and Moose have this Saturday. In just six short weeks, one of them will not only unify the IMPACT and TNA World Championships, but also go into a once-in-a-generation showdown where they’ll have chance become the reigning champion of two of the most prestigious organizations in the sport.

"It isn’t hyperbole to say Rich Swann and Moose are fighting for their shot at wrestling immortality this Saturday night."

Omega successfully defended the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley on Sunday at AEW: Revolution in an Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match.
