Injury Updates On Cody Rhodes, Adam Page Coming Out Of AEW Full Gear

The Elite got a little roughed up...

On a night where Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega presented an apparent tribute to the annual CZW Tournament of Death, there were fortunately no major injuries coming out of AEW Full Gear, according to company President Tony Khan.

In Khan's post-show scrum with the media, he did note two minor instances of wrestlers being at least temporarily imperiled, both involving members of The Elite.

Cody Rhodes was cut open during his World Title match with Chris Jericho, after spiking his face on the rampway during a suicide dive gone awry. Though the blood didn't look all too serious in the minutes following the initial injury, there was apparently a chance the match could end prematurely.

According to Khan, it was actually in hands of company doctor Michael Sampson as to whether or not Rhodes should be permitted to continue the match. Obviously, Sampson gave the all clear, and the match rolled on.

As for Adam Page, Khan noted that "The Hangman" believed he may have suffered a stinger during his match with Pac, as he was having some issues with his right arm. The belief is that Page will be okay for Wednesday's episode of Dynamite.
