Interim AEW Women's World Title Match Set For Dynamite
Toni Storm will put the gold on the line next week
The Interim AEW Women's World Championship will be on the line on next week's special Tuesday night edition of Dynamite from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Toni Storm will defend the title against former champion Hikaru Shida. The match came about on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite after Storm and Shida defeated Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter in tag team action. The babyfaces picked up the win after Shida pinned Baker.
Storm has been Interim AEW Women's World Champion since All Out. Thunder Rosa remains AEW Women's World Champion but she is currently out of action with an injury.
Shida is the longest-reigning women's champion in AEW history, having held the gold for 372 days.
Also announced for next week's Dynamite is a Renee Paquette sit-down interview with Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta. Already set for the show is an AEW World Championship match between champion Jon Moxley and Hangman Page.
