Isiah Kassidy Reflects On Private Party's AEW Run With Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy was Private Party's on-screen mentor in AEW

Despite a strong start to life in AEW, Private Party have found themselves lost in the shuffle as of late, with the team of Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen spinning their wheels since the dissolving of the Andrade Hardy Family Office faction.

However, despite their spot in AEW not being as high as it once was, Kassidy refuses to blame their  fortunes on their former association with Matt Hardy, saying the following to NBC Sports Boston's Steve Fall:

"I think it helped 100%," Kassidy said of being paired with Matt Hardy. "You know, a lot of people on the Internet, they're gonna say, 'Man, Private Party, their career went down because of Matt Hardy,' but me personally, and I'm pretty sure I can speak for Quen as well, I feel like Matt Hardy helped us a lot."

As well as playing their on screen mentor, Kassidy revealed how Hardy helped the team when the cameras stopped rolling, and wants to remain under the tag legend’s learning tree:

"Matt Hardy is my guy. I would love for him to take us under his wing, because eventually I want to be in The Hardys' place. I want to have a career exactly like them,” said Kassidy.

Kassidy and Quen have recently been paired with Hardy once again, on the Being The Elite YouTube series.
