Jake 'The Snake' Roberts Back In AEW

Jake Roberts is back in AEW

Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has taken to social media to give an update on his health.

Roberts revealed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) a condition that saw the wrestling legend require oxygen supplementation. However, Roberts took to Twitter to reveal that he no longer requires the use of an oxygen tank, saying:

"Off oxygen for good!! Standing tall doing great. At AEW AGAIN!! Sweet life I’m living!!”

At one point Roberts could not talk for more than 20 seconds without requiring the use of an oxygen mask, and this latest update is a massive leap on from an update Roberts gave in February 2022.

Roberts joined AEW in 2019 serving as Lance Archer’s manager. Due to his COPD diagnosis, Roberts has made scant few appearances over the past two years, but signed a two year contract extension in 2021.

Lance Archer is currently part of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament, and is set to take on Ricky Starks on the November 18 live edition of AEW Rampage. There’s no word as of yet if Roberts will be ringside for the match.
