Jeff Hardy Arrested For Alleged Public Intoxication
According to TMZ...
WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested this weekend in South Carolina for alleged public intoxication and impairment, per a report from TMZ.
According to the report, Hardy was booked by the Myrtle Beach Police Department earlier this weekend, and released at some point on Saturday on $200 bond.
TMZ clarifies that it's unsure at press time what specific incident led to Hardy's arrest.
Hardy had previously been arrested in Concord, NC in March 2018 following a traffic accident, for driving while impaired.
The 41-year-old multi-time titleholder in WWE last wrestled on April 20 of this year, at a live event in Madison, WI, eleven nights after he and brother Matt captured SmackDown's Tag Team titles.
A week and a half later, he and Matt were forced to relinquish the belts, due to a legitimate knee injury on Jeff's part. He subsequently underwent knee surgery on May 2. At the time, it was reported that Hardy would most likely miss six to nine months of action.
