Jeff Hardy Wants Singles Match With Brock Lesnar Before WWE Retirement

The pair had one televised singles bout at Backlash 2002...

Back in 2002, The Hardy Boyz feuded with The Next Big Thing, Brock Lensar. During that time, Jeff Hardy had no less than three singles matches with the current Universal Champion - two at live events, and one at Backlash 2002.

Needless to say, Brock won all three encounters as he continued his ascension to that win over The Rock at SummerSlam that year.

Despite the beatings he took back in the day - a time when Paul Heyman would flaunt Team Xtreme member Lita's thongs on the stage live on Raw, by the way - The Charismatic Enigma wants to wrestle one more match against Brock before calling time on his illustrious career.

Jeff recently appeared on The Five Count and had this to say when he was asked about his dream opponents: “I’ve pretty much wrestled everybody I’ve ever dreamt of wrestling, but before I’m done, I’d love to have a one-on-one match with Brock Lesnar,” Hardy said.

“One more time with him, cause he’s a maniac, freak athlete that I would love to get in there with one more time before I’m done.”
