John Cena Will Be In New York During WWE WrestleMania 35 Weekend

But will he appear on the Grandest Stage of Them All?

Last week, it was reported that despite there being no plans in the offing, John Cena (along with Kurt Angle) is going to be on the WrestleMania 35 card in some form.

Now, thanks to the man himself, we know that Cena will definitely be in New York City During WrestleMania 35 weekend.

While 'Mania itself happens on Sunday, April 7, Cena will be at Strand Book Store in Union Square, on Friday, April 5 at 4 pm ET to sign copies of his new kids' book, titled Elbow Grease.

Cena shared the news on his Twitter account earlier today:

Cena's most recent appearances for WWE happened throughout December 2018 at live events primarily, with a couple of TV outings scattered in there for good measure.

Notably, the leader of the Cenation was supposed to appear at the 2019 Royal Rumble event but was revealed to be "injured" just as the kickoff show was going on the air.

As things stand, here's the current card for WWE WrestleMania 35:

  • WWE Universal Title: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins

  • WWE Raw Women’s Title: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

  • WWE Cruiserweight Title: Buddy Murphy (c) vs. 205 Live Tournament winner
