Kenny Omega Comments On Potential AEW-WWE Working Relationship

Will it ever happen?

Kenny Omega has given his thoughts on a potential working relationship between All Elite Wrestling and WWE.

The AEW EVP has previously said he would "fight tooth and nail" for a working relationship with Vince McMahon's company and now The Best Bout Machine has commented further on the matter on Wrestling Observer Radio

"The one huge crossover, will you ever see WWE team up with anybody? Who knows? I feel as the world evolves and changes and time goes by, people become more open-minded to everything, whether it be the wrestlers themselves, people in the office, the fans. I wouldn't hold my breath but at the same time I would never say it's impossible," Omega said.

AEW has formed working relationships with the likes of AAA, IMPACT Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling since the promotion was founded and Omega described the current situation as one "where only the fans win."

"I really wanted to kind of open the floodgates and show what it's like when people play nice with one another. I really think this is a situation where only the fans win," he added.

While an AEW-WWE working relationship is considered unlikely, WWE has shown a renewed openness to working with other promotions in recent months, with the change having been driven by Nick Khan.

Vince McMahon's company held talks with both New Japan Pro-Wrestling and MLW earlier this year, although no working relationships were established.
