Kenny Omega Teases Reinforcements For The Elite Following AEW Double Or Nothing

Kenny Omega has a couple of friends in mind

The Elite accumulated more enemies during the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Hangman Page took on Blackpool Combat Club's Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta in Anarchy in the Arena at Double or Nothing. The match ended in shocking circumstances, though, as Konosuke Takeshita turned heel and wiped out Kenny Omega before Wheeler Yuta covered the Best Bout Machine to pick up the win for the BCC.

If Konosuke Takeshita will join Blackpool Combat Club is unknown but Omega revealed after Double or Nothing that he is looking to recruit reinforcements.

Addressing the live crowd post-pay-per-view, Omega stated: "I might not be the most popular guy backstage, but there is a bigger world than AEW, and I still have at least one or two really good friends that can even up the odds. You guys stay tuned. We are not done! This is not over!"

Speculation has quickly suggested those two friends could be Kota Ibushi and Kazuchika Okada. Ibushi is currently a free agent and he has revealed wrestling for AEW and a Golden Lovers reunion with Omega are his top priorities. Kazuchika Okada, meanwhile, remains a top star in New Japan Pro-Wrestling and the promotion is set to hold the joint-Forbidden Door pay-per-view with AEW on June 25.

Okada even has issues with Blackpool Combat Club and he, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Tomohiro Ishii are set to defend the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Titles against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Shota Umino at Dominion on June 4. Omega recently expressed his willingness to team with Okada again.
