Kurt Angle On Potentially Wrestling Again: 'It's Not Gonna Happen'

No in-ring return coming for Kurt Angle

Anyone holding out hope that Kurt Angle will one day wrestle another WWE match should probably let it go at this point. The WWE Hall of Famer is simply not interested in an in-ring return, as he noted during a recent K&S WrestleFest virtual signing

"I wouldn't mind doing a spot here and there. But, if you're gonna ask me to do a wrestling match, it's just not gonna happen. Yeah, I could take some bumps," the 55-year-old said.

While he has no desire to step back in the ring (and likely couldn't given his history of neck injuries), Kurt would consider a managerial role (as long as the cash and creative were to his satisfaction), saying:

"If the money was right (I would come back to manage a faction)… The spot (matters too), yeah, definitely. I think Chad (Gable) and his gang that he has right now, that would be a great idea".

The Olympic Hero has previously spoken about the 'kick to the nuts' offer WWE gave him to manage Matt Riddle, noting that the two sides were far apart on money.

Angle is still under contract to WWE and appears on TV every now and again, but hasn't wrestled since losing to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
