Las Vegas Spends $5 Million On Hosting WWE WrestleMania 41

Money for WWE over WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas

Further details on how much WWE received to hold WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas have been revealed.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority approved $5 million in sponsorship dollars to bring WrestleMania 41 to the city, the tourism group announced this week.

Lisa Motley, the vice president of sports and special events for the tourism group, noted the city expected over 180,000 fans to be in Las Vegas for the weekend. WrestleMania 41 will be held over Easter weekend on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 at Allegiant Stadium. Friday Night SmackDown and the Raw after WrestleMania 41 will take place at "an MGM Resorts Venue," while the WWE World convention will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

From the $5 million, it is unclear how much WWE made in regards to a site fee. TKO Chief Financial Officer Andrew Schleimer recently stated during the organisation's Q1 2024 earning calls that WWE received a site fee and other cash and non-cash incentives to hold WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

WWE receive site fees for many of their events, including $50 million for every Saudi Arabia pay-per-view.

Currently planned for WrestleMania 41 is Cody Rhodes vs. The Rock, but it is unknown if the Undisputed WWE Title or The Rock's People Championship will be on the line.
