Latest On Drew McIntyre's WWE Return

Scottish Psychopath isn't too far away...

Drew McIntyre has been missing from our screens since the August 26 episode of WWE Raw.

A great deal of mystery surrounds the injury that is keeping the Scottish Psychopath away from the ring at the moment, but we do know it was discovered while the former Raw Tag Team Champion was on a promotional tour of Mexico.

The latest on McIntyre's comeback to WWE TV comes to us from PWInsider, who confirmed he wasn't even backstage at last night's Raw, therefore, mustn't have been cleared for an in-ring return just yet.

PWInsider also stated: "At this point, it makes the most sense from a dramatic standpoint to bring him back around the Draft."

The next WWE draft takes place on the Friday, October 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and October 14 episode of Monday Night Raw. SmackDown, of course, debuts on Fox next Friday night (October 4).

Before taking some time away from the ring, McIntyre was feuding with the likes of Ricochet and Cedric Alexander on Raw.

The One And Only defeated Drew on the August 26 episode of the red brand show.
