Matt Sydal Signs With AEW
Sydal Officially Signs With The Fledgling Organisation...
Matt Sydal has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling, with the group tweeting a picture welcoming him to the team.
Sydal had previously been working for the organisation while not being officially signed to any deal.
His first appearance for the promotion came at the All Out pay-per-view on September 5, as a surprise participant in the Casino Battle Royal.
Memorable for the wrong reasons, Sydal was lucky to escape serious injury as he slipped off the top rope while attempting to execute his signature Shooting Star Press.
Despite that, Sydal has continued to work for AEW, primarily wrestling on the AEW Dark YouTube show.
The All Out slip was incorporated into a brief storyline with Michael Nakazawa, which crossed over to the Being the Elite series.
At the time, he was also working for Ring of Honor, but he has since wrapped up his commitments with them.
