More Wrestlers Qualify For Money In The Bank On SmackDown

More wrestlers have qualified for the men's and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches

The last couple of weeks have seen Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown each hosting several Money in the Bank qualifying matches. The premium live event is fast approaching, taking place in one week’s time, so the respective fields for the men’s and women’s ladder matches are taking their final shape.

On last night’s episode of SmackDown in Madison Square Garden, three new names earned their spots in the Money in the Bank ladder matches.

The women’s ladder match received two new entrants, as Tiffany Stratton won a triple threat match also involving Candice LeRae and Jade Cargill. During the match, Cargill was attacked by Hartwell and taken out, allowing Stratton to pin LeRae for the victory. Elsewhere on the women’s side, Naomi would also win a triple threat match involving Indi Hartwell and Blair Davenport. This time it was Cargill’s turn to interfere, costing Hartwell.

Over on the men’s side, LA Knight scored his spot by defeating both United States Champion LA Knight and Santos Escobar. Knight rolled up Paul for a victory, getting added to the ladder match and also staking a claim for a shot at the United States Title.

The updated field and match card for Money in the Bank 2024 is as follows;

  • LA Knight vs. Chad Gable vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Jey Uso vs. TBA - Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
  • Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Chelsea Green vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Iyo Sky vs. TBA - Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
  • Damian Priest (c) vs. Seth Rollins - World Heavyweight Championship (if Priest loses he leaves Judgment Day, if Rollins loses he cannot challenge again whilst Priest is champion)

  • Sami Zayn (c) vs. Bron Breakker - Intercontinental Championship
